Apprentice Assembly Apprenticeship

Assemble evacuation chairs and related products following company procedures and quality standards. Learn to safely use a range of hand tools, equipment and assembly techniques. Work alongside experienced colleagues to build practical engineering and manufacturing skills. Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet the required standard before dispatch. Receive, check and store deliveries while learning effective stock control procedures. Help maintain a clean, safe and organised work area using 6S principles. Follow health and safety procedures and ISO quality standards at all times. Work as part of the assembly team to meet daily production targets and customer requirements. Report stock shortages, quality concerns or production issues to your supervisor. Complete a Level 2 Engineering Operative apprenticeship while earning and developing valuable workplace skills.

Training:

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.



Training Outcome:

Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a permanent CNC Operator position. With further experience and training, you'll have opportunities to progress into roles such as CNC Programmer, CNC Setter/Operator, Production Engineer or Manufacturing Supervisor, building a long-term career in engineering.
