Childminder Apprenticeship Assistant

To plan, provide and take part in play-based activities that stimulate and support children’s development daily Assume the role as a Key Person to designated children throughout the week To follow and support children through their daily routine Develop an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Development Matter and ensure that practice and provision meets the requirements To create professional relationships with parents and communicate feedback about their child’s day Always supervise and ensure the safety of children Maintain a clean and organised environment, including tidying up after activities Ensure children follow good hygiene practices Attending outings with children alongside the Lead Childminders

Training:
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying

Training Outcome:
Potential permanent job role, progression to a higher level apprenticeship or qualification

Employer Description:

We are a small childminder looking after children under the ages of 5.



Working Hours :
Tuesday - Thursday, 8.00am - 6.00pm, Friday: college day, 9.30am - 4.30pm.
