Early Years Practitioner Apprentice

Key Responsibilities

Supporting children's learning through planned play activities and experiences. Assisting with the preparation of engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments. Supporting children's personal, social, emotional and physical development. Encouraging children's communication, language and independence. Supervising children during play, mealtimes and outdoor activities. Helping children develop confidence, curiosity and positive relationships. Assisting with personal care routines where appropriate. Observing children's progress and contributing to learning records. Working closely with colleagues to provide high-quality care and education. Building positive relationships with parents and carers. Maintaining high standards of hygiene, health and safety throughout the nursery. Following safeguarding policies and procedures at all times. Supporting inclusive practice to ensure every child can achieve their potential. Participating in team meetings and training sessions. Carrying out general nursery duties as required.

You will complete the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship.

Permanent employment opportunities within the nursery, subject to performance and business needs.

· Progression onto the Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship.

· Continued professional development within Early Years education.

Full-time employment? Potentially, subject to successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
