Dispensing of medication to patients Over-the-counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & safety responsibility Rotation of stock Use of patient record systems and use of smart cards Data entry relating to medication Labelling and dispensing Accuracy and attention to detail Working within a team environment Liaison with doctors, surgery and health professionals Completion of apprenticeship work on time

Training:

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 and Functional Skills if required.



Training Outcome:
Pharmacy Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship A possible permanent position within the organisation
