Title: Vulnerability Management Specialist - Hybrid working
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Vulnerability Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Coventry, working for a leading financial services company.
As a Tenable expert, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's vulnerability management program, ensuring that all vulnerabilities are identified, prioritised and mitigated.
You will need to work with stakeholders at all levels, so proven experience with senior level stakeholder management is essential.
The role involves working with a hybrid model, with twice a month in the office and the rest of the time working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement vulnerability management policies and procedures.
Manage and oversee the company's vulnerability scanning tools and processes.
Identify and assess potential vulnerabilities across the organisation's network, systems, and applications.
Work with senior-level stakeholders to prioritise and remediate vulnerabilities based on risk.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of vulnerabilities.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the vulnerability management program.
Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and vulnerability management best practices.
Requirements:
Tenable expert with a strong technical understanding of vulnerability management.
Proven experience managing vulnerability management programs (within a financial services organisation is a big bonus but not essential in any way.)
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior-level stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Relevant professional qualifications, such as CISSP or CISM, are desirable.
Salary and Benefits: The salary for this role is £73,000 per annum plus up to 20% bonus and 10% pension.
The company also offers a range of additional benefits, including delath in service, flexible working hours as well as a reduced working week.
