Hairdressing Apprentice

Welcome clients and support the salon team with day-to-day duties Carry out shampooing, conditioning and basic treatments Assist stylists with colouring, cutting and styling services Learn to cut, style and finish hair using a range of techniques Support client consultations and develop communication skills Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic working environment Prepare tools, equipment and workstations for services Build product knowledge and promote salon services Develop confidence working with different hair types and client needs

Training:
Work-based training at E’Clips Hair Studio Day release to college (Fareham College, Southampton College or Eastleigh College) On-the-job learning through practical salon experience Off-the-job training at college covering theory and technical skills Regular support and reviews from a dedicated Professional Trainer Ongoing assessment through practical work, observations, assignments and portfolio building End-point assessment to confirm competence and completion

Training Outcome:
Progression to Level 3 Advanced & Creative Hair Professional Apprenticeship Become a permanent member of the team Increased responsibilities within the salon as skills develop Continued professional development within the hairdressing industry

Working Hours :
Tuesday - Saturday, start times vary between 8.30am - 9.00am, working until 5.00pm. Early finish on a Saturday at 2.00pm with Sunday and Monday off.
