Brand Manager –Huntingdon (Hybrid)

Our client provides a wide range of products within the agriculture sector, across multiple brands, via its network of major and independent wholesalers.
This role with give full creative freedom to bring your marketing ideas to life within a multi-million-pound industry as part of a growing business.
This position will suit a highly creative, entrepreneurial manager who is keen to bring to life the company’s core identity and add value for their end customers, maximising revenue through improving brand loyalty.
A fundamental part of the role will be to build strong relationships with the core customers and assisting the client to bring relevant new products to market. Hybrid working 3 days office based, 2 days from homeDuties
To drive the clients Brands, supporting the product portfolio within the business and customer base.
Develop Strategic Marketing plans across the full brand portfolio.Work collaboratively with the Technical, Design and Commercial teams to identify areas of new product opportunity, quantifying the commercial benefits, developing product conceptsGauging wholesale trade and consumer response to new products that add commercial value to the business, ensuring Brand Proposition uniqueness.Manage new products through the business to bring them to market on time and profitably.Manage and deliver all consumer communication across the brands.Oversee all relevant Customer marketing comms to improve Brand awareness.Develop all supporting marketing materials including packaging, literature, advertising, promotions, POS, sell in literature.Monitor, review and report on all Sales and Marketing commercial activity to deliver results to the sales team.Conduct market research to determine market requirements for future and existing Customers.Analysis of customer research, consumer insight, current market conditions and competitor information to inform the strategic direction of the brands.Commissioning and managing areas of the company’s stand at trade exhibitions including working with suppliers and the internal team allocated to help with the show’s preparation and execution.
Essential requirements
Brand management or product marketing background 3 year minimumDemonstrate an ability to learn in a fast-paced environmentA confident, personable relationship builder
Experience in marketing through all aspects including new product development, through the online media communication and setting the strategic direction for the brands.Strong communication, presentation skills and resilient, ambitious and adaptable.Ability to analyse and interpret performance management dataStrong attention to detail with good excel skills.Good organisational skillsExperience of working and delivering multiple projectsEvidence of growing brands, identifying growth opportunities and gaining alignment to execute against a strategic growth plan.Proven skills in the following: brand marketing, market and competitive analysis, customer insights, marketing program development, project planning
