Apprentice Welder/Fabricator

Job Requirements:

The candidate should have the ability to work in a team as well as carry out their own independent work and bring their own ideas and opinions forward to their peers The successful candidate should have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude towards their work The candidate should have a keen interest in or hands-on experience in the engineering or mechanical manufacturing sector Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision will also be a benefit Welding and metalwork fabrication

Training:
The apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Metal Fabricator Level 3 The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course This is a day release programme, which means you will attend college 1-day per week, term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours

Training Outcome:

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities to progress into a full-time role within the team.

Working Hours :
08:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break and a 15-minute break each morning and each afternoon. Working days TBC.
