Apprentice Fire Systems Technician

Main Duties:

Supporting the Technicians in the installation, servicing/maintaining and commissioning of fire alarm systems Use of hand tools, test equipment and laptops Completion of all relevant site paperwork on a smartphone Working to company procedures and following all health & safety guidelines Provide excellent service to customers, building solid working relationships

These duties are not exhaustive, and other duties may be required from time to time. It is also anticipated that the duties will progress over time.

A driving licence and access to own vehicle would be preferred but is not essential for the right candidate who is looking to achieve this within an agreed timescale.

Training:

Will attend day release at Access Training based on Team Valley, Gateshead – 1 day per week/fortnight.

Fire, Emergency and Security Systems Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Training Outcome:

There is an excellent opportunity to develop within the company for the right candidate who is enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills. The successful applicant would have excellent long-term prospects, with the opportunity to develop as a Lead Technician for the company as it continues to grow.

With our years of hands-on experience and qualifications within the fire safety industry, we can offer general advice and guidance to business owners and managers throughout the region. 

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00pm, 30 minute lunch break.
