Assistant Quality Reviewer
About The RoleAt Saha, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive, good quality housing services, support and resettlement.Quality Assurance is a dedicated team providing external, contracted services, mostly to The Salvation Army.
This role is a fixed term position for two years, primarily to support the delivery of a contract with The Salvation Army Modern Slavery Team.
The Salvation Army hold the Modern Slavery Victim Care Contract (MSVCC) with the Home Office to provide safe accommodation for victims of Modern Slavery.
They have subcontracted to Saha the requirement to inspect the condition of Safehouse accommodation across the UK, against a set of standards defined by the Home Office.Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Assistant Quality Reviewer will provide specific support to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of our contract terms.
The post holder is primarily required to visit and inspect buildings, reporting on their findings, in addition to providing administrative, project and system support.The Assistant Quality Reviewer will provide excellent customer care to internal and external customers of the Association.
The post holder will be required to work from home and be prepared to undertake extensive nationwide travel. What you will be doing:
Carrying out on-site visits across the UK to Safehouses providing accommodation for victims of Modern Slavery.
To carry out inspections of the standard of the buildings, following a defined framework and set of standard criteriaWorking closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to provide both visiting and administrative support to effectively deliver the requirements of the contractEnsuring that Safehouses and Providers are compliant in their operations in specific areas, as defined by the contract specification, checking, querying and validating documentation as necessaryProviding written reports of findings from inspections, including raising action plans and recommendations for improvementSupporting with any meetings held with the customer and to provide summary information for the customer where requiredAbout The CandidateAn Assistant Quality Reviewer will instinctively share Saha’s delivery values and behaviours, loving your work, helping people to thrive and always finding a way to be effective.We're looking for people with the following:Essential Criteria:
An understanding of property maintenance / Health & Safety issuesEducated to GCSE levelPrevious experience of carrying out property inspectionsPrevious experience working in the social housing sector, carrying out site visitsExperience of developing processes, documents, quality assurance systems and procedures to meet set requirementsFull clean driving licence and access to a car insured for business useAptitudes / Abilities:
Numerate and data rationalStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and audiencesIT literate, comfortable and proficient at using MS Office applications and bespoke databases, including Sharepoint, Box.comHighly organised and able to prioritise a varied workloadExcellent attention to detail and innovation skills Benefits of working for us:
