Chef de Partie - New Opening

Salary: €2,500 – €3,000 gross per month (depending on experience)

Languages: English required | Dutch is a strong advantage

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join an exciting new hospitality opening in Amsterdam.

This is a great opportunity for a chef who takes pride in their craft, enjoys working as part of a strong kitchen team, and wants to be part of building a successful operation from the start.

You will take ownership of your section, ensuring quality, consistency, and smooth service while working alongside an experienced culinary team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

What you'll do

Manage your own section during preparation and service.Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to quality standards.Complete daily mise-en-place and maintain a clean, organised workstation.Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative kitchen environment.Communicate effectively with the team to ensure efficient service flow.Manage stock within your section, rotate products, and minimise waste.Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen procedures.Support events, seasonal menus, and special services when required.

Who you are

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or a strong Commis Chef ready to progress.Confident running your own section during busy services.Passionate about quality cooking and consistent execution.Organised, reliable, and able to manage priorities under pressure.A positive team player with a hands-on approach.Good understanding of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and cost awareness.Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a strong advantage.
