Engineering Maintenance Technician Apprentice (Level 3)

Support the maintenance, servicing and repair of diesel generators and associated equipment Assist with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs Learn to diagnose faults and support repairs on electrical and mechanical systems Work with engines, alternators, control panels, fuel systems, cooling systems and associated components Complete job records and service reports using company systems Support testing, inspection and commissioning activities Follow health and safety procedures and site requirements at all times Work alongside experienced engineers both at Shenton Group facilities and customer sites

Training:

Training will primarily take place at Shenton House, Andover, where the apprentice will work alongside experienced engineers maintaining and servicing critical power systems.

In addition, PDT will deliver apprenticeship training at our offices approximately once per month. The apprentice will also complete off-the-job learning and practical workplace training as part of the Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship



Training Outcome:

Upon successful completion, the apprentice may progress into a Maintenance Engineer role within Shenton Group. The skills and qualifications gained can also support future careers as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or Specialist Power Systems Engineer across the engineering and energy sectors.

Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm Friday, 9am to 4.30pm
