Machine Operator

The Machine Operator position is working with a market leading, international multi-million-pound turnover engineering business based in Huddersfield. This opportunity offers both personal and career development within a market leading engineering group.

This is a permeant opportunity for a Machine Operator to join a forward thinking, industry leader.

The brand-new purpose built, state of art manufacturing facility is based in Huddersfield, making it accessible from surrounding towns and cities such as; Elland, Halifax, Bradford, Leeds and Wakefield.

Key Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:

Operate convoluting and production machinery safely and efficiently, following procedures and work instructions. Manufacture and assemble products to required specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing tolerances. Conduct routine quality checks to identify defects and ensure products meet customer and company requirements. Follow all Health & Safety policies and maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment. Accurately complete production records and use basic computer systems to support manufacturing activities. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (5S).

Working Hours of the Machine Operator

Monday- Thursday: 06:00-14:00 Friday: 06:00-11:00

I would be keen to speak to candidates who possess:

Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience within an engineering environment. A good level of numeracy and basic computer skills, with the ability to accurately complete production records. The ability to follow written work instructions and work to strict quality standards and manufacturing tolerances. Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

In Return, the Machine Operator will receive:

Basic Salary: £13.45 Per Hour. Early finish on a Friday. 14% pension contribution. 27 days holiday + Bank Holidays. Free dental and optical appointments. Private healthcare.
