Engineering Stores - Group Level
The Engineering Stores Controller / Inventory Analyst vacancy is offered on a permanent basis and is working days Monday to Friday with a leading manufacturing business.
The position offers opportunities for both training and personal development.
Within the position you will join our client's central process improvement team, sharing best practices and ways of working across their network of manufacturing facilities across the UK.
You will play a key role in conducting the Inventory workstream within the Asset Transformation Programme across the business.

Permanent position working Monday to Fridays
The position will allow for home working but will also involve travel within England to different factories within our client’s network.
Therefore, there may at times be requirements for overnight stays 1 to 3 times per week, which are all fully expensed.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Inventory Information - Conduct detailed information gathering of current spares within factories.
Including manufacturer information and financial data.
• Stores validation, review, and audit - Conducting stores audit against current Stores Management Standards, with the factory teams.
• Physical Stores Improvements - Working with factory teams to ensure physical stores meet the correct standards and put in place action plans where required.
Facilitating 5s activities in the stores where required.
Populate and update CMMS - Populate CMMS with the relevant store's information such as bins, locations, and item details.
Project Delivery - Ensure all objectives set by Reliability Lead are met in a timely manner and all project reporting points are kept suitably informed on project progress.
Skills, Qualifications and Attributes:
Experience of managing Engineering Stores / Stores Systems – stock control, computer-based, and or operation of a computer based Maintenance PPM system / CMMS
Computer literate including Word, Excel (All round IT skills)
Good communication skills
Self-motivated, able to work unsupervised
Able to work to targets / time scales
Experience of working within a manufacturing or engineering administration or stock control environment is required and stores audits / cycle counts
