Level 2 Practitioner Early Years Apprentice - Monton

As a Childcare Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced practitioners to provide high-quality care and education for children in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.

Your duties will include:

Supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Observing, supporting and extending children's learning through planned activities and play experiences Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development Building positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues Acting as a key person for a small group of children, supporting their individual needs and development Promoting inclusive practice and supporting children with additional needs where appropriate Following safeguarding, child protection, health and safety, and hygiene procedures to ensure children remain safe and well cared for Helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming nursery environment Working as part of a supportive team and assisting during inspections by regulatory bodies Supporting students and taking part in training, supervision and professional development Promoting the nursery to current and prospective families Following all nursery policies and procedures and carrying out any other reasonable duties requested by the nursery manager

Training:
6 hours per week in work allocated by Nursery manager

Training Outcome:
Permanent full time role available upon completion of apprenticeship for the right candidate
