Apprentice Commercial Administrator

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Commercial Department. Shadow Senior Quantity Surveyors to gain an understanding of commercial processes and project management. Assist with general administrative duties including document management, filing, data entry and maintaining project records. Respond to administrative requests from the commercial team. Complete quantity take-offs from construction drawings to calculate areas, quantities and material requirements. Produce accurate schedules and measurement information to support estimating and procurement activities. Develop an understanding of supplier relationships and material procurement within the construction industry. Support the wider business with administrative tasks as required.

Training:
We host supporting workshops regularly throughout the apprenticeship which you will attend in person at our designated training site/campus. These workshops are carefully designed to support the learning required throughout the apprenticeship programme. You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession. You will experience a blended learning model.

Training Outcome:

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be the opportunity to progress onto a higher-level apprenticeship.

Monday to Thursday 8:30 - 5pm Friday 8:30 - 4pm.
