Senior Games Mathematician

Are you a Games Mathematician looking for a new challenge for 2023?BENEFITS: up to £35,000 depending on experience, Flexible working hours (based on a 40 hour week), Hybrid working (2 days per week work from home), Personalised Benefits Mastercard, 26 days holiday (including 5 day Christmas shut down) plus bank holidays, and enhanced pension (up to 6%)You will be an experienced Game Mathematician having a deep understanding of trends and techniques within the online casino games market, experienced in designing and developing algorithms to work at scale and to extract insight from large data sets.

You will be creating, maintaining and provide computer simulation and analysis of new and existing mathematical models, performing statistical analysis of casino games and working game designers and programmers to develop new game mechanics.

You will also be involved with maintaining various data streams related to game development and performance.

The company create a variety of solutions for the iGaming and Online Casino industry, and have a new office based in Birmingham City Centre and are offering flexible working hours and offer working from home up to 2 days per week.Key Requirements

Experience within the iGaming Industry - at least 2 years
Good understanding of gambling and relevant probability theory
Ability to solve complex problems involving game probability and data analytics
Highly skilled in Excel
Ability to create visual representations of data
Proven experience in the use of statistics and probability
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Related Field.
High attention to detail
Ability to problem Solve and think outside the box
Strong analytical skills

Nice to have:

Ability to understand player psychology in the gambling sector
Previous experience developing algorithms
Experience with Python or C++
Any experience in performing qualitive analysis within a web or tech company
