HR Support Apprentice

HR Administration​

Maintain and update employee records accurately (electronic and paper files)​

Assist with onboarding processes, including issuing contracts and new starter documentation​

Support offboarding processes, including exit paperwork and system updates​

Ensure HR systems are kept up to date and compliant with data protection requirements​

Recruitment & Selection​

Assist with job postings and advert creation​ Screen CVs and schedule interviews​ Liaise with candidates and hiring managers​ Support onboarding and induction activities​

Employee Support​ Act as a first point of contact for basic HR queries​ Provide administrative support for employee relations cases (e.g., note-taking in meetings)​ Help prepare HR letters such as confirmations, changes to terms, and policy communications​

Learning & Development​ Support training coordination and booking​ Maintain training records and monitor compliance​ Assist in organising internal development programmes​

HR Projects & Reporting​ Contribute to HR projects and initiatives (e.g., engagement surveys, wellbeing initiatives)​ Assist with HR data reporting and analysis​ Prepare basic reports using HR systems and Excel​

Skills Required​ Strong organisational and administrative skills​ Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality awareness​ Good communication skills (written and verbal)​ Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively​ Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook)​ Willingness to learn and develop in an HR environment​

Training Outcome:

Progression onto the HR pathway along with internal promotion possibilities.
