Hairdressing Apprentice

Key Responsibilities:

Client Care & Salon Support:

Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner Assist with coats, refreshments, and seating clients comfortably Maintain a welcoming salon atmosphere at all times

Technical Support (under supervision):

Shampooing, conditioning, and applying treatments Preparing clients for cutting, colouring, and styling services Mixing colour formulas accurately following instructions Assisting stylists during blow-drying and finishing services Learning correct sectioning, product application, and tool handling techniques

Salon Maintenance & Standards:

Ensure all workstations remain clean, tidy, and hygienic throughout the day Manage laundry, including washing, drying, and organising towels and gowns Restock retail displays and backbar products Follow strict health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times

Training:
Hairdressing Professional Level 2 Training with Milton Keynes College Ongoing training, support and development with the employer

Training Outcome:
A permanent position may be on offer upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
