Healthcare Assistant - North Cork

AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting Relief Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our clients Day Care Centre in North Cork area. 

This is a rewarding opportunity to support older adults in a welcoming Day Care Centre that promotes independence, wellbeing and social inclusion. As part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care while assisting clients to participate in daily activities, therapeutic programmes and social engagement in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, person-centred care and support.Assist clients with personal care where required.Support clients to participate in recreational, therapeutic and social activities.Encourage independence, dignity and choice.Assist with mobility and mealtime support.Maintain accurate care records and documentation.Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high standard of care.Adhere to HIQA standards, infection prevention procedures and safeguarding policies.

Essential Requirements

QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support, Community Care or equivalent.Minimum 6 months' experience in a healthcare setting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Full driving licence and own transport.Three satisfactory referencesCompassionate, reliable and professional approach to care.Eligibility to work in Ireland.
