Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Building – Kings Cross, London – up to £50,000 + Package
An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in King Cross, London has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with HVAP experience or a desire to get into HV work. Based in an iconic commercial building in Kings Cross, London. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across this commercial building
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £50,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)Emergency lighting testsAct as the site High Voltage (HV) Authorised Person and ensure all HV operations are carried out in accordance with company procedures and safe systems of work.Manage and control the HV network, including issuing and cancelling permits, switching operations, and maintaining HV safety documentation where requiredProvide technical support and guidance on electrical safety and HV systems to site personnel and contractorsControl PanelsChanging BallastBMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenanceMaintain and update Log booksPlumbing - Unblocking toiletsPumps, motorsCompliance and logbooksChillers and pressurisation unitsUndertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.Escort specialist subcontractors
Requirements
Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3City & Guilds - 18th EditionPrevious or expired HVAPMust be able to provide copies of your trade certificatesA proven track record in commercial building maintenanceMulti-skilledGood communication skillsClient Facing
