Property Surveyor
A client within the Public Sector based in the Northeast is currently recruiting for a Property Surveyor to join their repairs team as soon as possible.
The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a housing environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to be responsible for completing surveys to all types of council housing properties in a customer focused manner.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
completion of condition surveys to council house properties including assessment against Decent Homes and Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) on an on-going basis
provide technical advice to tenants and other staff as required.
assist in the maintenance of an up-to-date Stock Condition database
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require a related building qualification and relevant experience as a surveyor across a housing organisation or local authority.
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related technical surveying role
Have a clear understanding of the Governments disrepair legislation
Able to create construction related specifications
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £18 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
