Apprentice Horticultural Nursery Assistant

Plant Care & Cultivation: Learning how to propagate, pot, prune, and nurture an incredible variety of young plants, shrubs, and trees. Nursery Technology: Working with our automated irrigation systems and innovative container-growing setups (like the revolutionary Air-Pot system). Stock & Order Management: Helping prepare, grade, and pack large-scale plant orders for nationwide dispatch. Site Maintenance: Learning the seasonal rhythms of a 35-acre nursery, ensuring our crops are healthy, clean, and perfectly spaced.

Training:

Training will take place 4 x days per week at the work place, with one day release every two weeks at East Durham College's Houghall Campus.

Training Outcome:

We treat our apprentices as the future of our company. Many apprentices in horticulture go on to full-time management, specialist growing, or sales roles.

Monday - Friday 08.00-16.30.
