Wake Nights - Wroughton and Highworth

First City Nursing and Care have a fantastic vacancy for a healthcare assistant within our independent living hubs in Highworth and Wroughton.

Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be given although we welcome applications from experienced carers.

Please note this position involves lone working.
Location: Wroughton, Highworth
Hours Available: Full-Time, Part-Time, Bank
Shifts Available: 8pm and finishing at 7/8am
Salary: £9.52 - £15.56 per hour Full training, Pension
As a healthcare assistant you will be promoting independence and supporting with duties outlined in each person-centred care plan such as:

Assisting with personal care
Administering medication
Helping service users evening/night/morning routines
Preparing meals
Light domestic tasks
Laundry
Ensuring safety and wellbeing of all within the building (including an emergency on call buzzer service)

To be a healthcare assistant, you'll need to be:

Trustworthy
Cheerful and friendly
Willing to be hands-on with customers
Willing to do personal care tasks (washing, toileting, etc)
Able to follow instructions
Able to work in a team but use their own initiative

A driving licence is not required for this position, however the successful candidate will need to be available for shifts starting at 8pm and finishing at 7/8am in Highworth and Wroughton.

Some weekend commitment is required for this vacancy.
