Technical Sales and Purchasing Administrator Apprentice

Interpret the clients requirements from specifications and drawings and use software and internal support personnel to build up an estimated cost and price proposal to suit the clients request Liaise with suppliers for materials and sub contract cost Deal with clients technical questions with support from the companies manufacturing engineers to maximise the new business opportunities The role also may require the successful candidate to represent the company at future UK exhibitions with other team members All supplier and customer interaction is via email and telephone Assist with logistical task and stock control

Training:

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will receive structured training and support to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for the role. Your training will include:

A comprehensive company induction Health and Safety training and workplace compliance Learning company policies and procedures Training on Sage 50 Stock Control Training on Sage 50 Accounts Completing a range of Health and Safety e-learning courses Understanding and completing Risk Assessments Learning how to use accountable spreadsheets and maintain accurate business records Ongoing coaching and mentoring from experienced colleagues Regular off-the-job training leading to a nationally recognised qualification

Training Outcome:

There would be the opportunity for the role to become a permanent position with Mine Technology Services.

Salary to be negotiated on market rates and prior performance and experience.
