HR Apprentice

Supporting recruitment activity, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews and communicating with candidates. Assisting with new starter onboarding, including preparing documentation and coordinating pre-employment checks. Maintaining accurate employee records and updating HR systems. Supporting the administration of employee changes, including contractual amendments and leavers. Assisting the Payroll Supervisor with monthly payroll activities. Coordinating training bookings and maintaining learning and development records. Producing HR reports and supporting HR data administration. Supporting HR projects and improvement initiatives. Providing general administrative support to the HR team. No two days will be the same, and you will have the opportunity to learn about all areas of HR while developing valuable workplace skills.

We are looking for someone who is:

Interested in building a career in Human Resources. Organised, reliable and able to pay attention to detail. A good communicator who enjoys working with people. Comfortable handling confidential information professionally. Keen to learn and develop new skills. Able to work independently while also being part of a team. This opportunity would suit someone starting their career, a recent graduate, or someone looking to take their first step into HR.

A qualification or degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related subject would be helpful but is not essential.



Training:
A structured HR apprenticeship with support towards a recognised HR qualification. This will be either online or at a local college.

Training Outcome:

Once qualified, the applicant can progress to a Level 5 in Human Resources Management.
