Site Engineer (Setting Out & QA/QC)

AA Euro Group are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer (Setting out & QA/QC) on behalf of an Irish Civils Contractor working on large scale Infrastructure projects around the West London/Slough area. The Site Engineer will be responsible for providing engineering support across multiple civil, drainage and groundworks packages on a variety of large-scale infrastructure projects. The Site Engineer (Setting Out & QA/QC) will be responsible for accurate setting out, quality control, and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

This is a long-term CIS position, 5+ Years experience in a similar position is essential.

Full UK driving license & full right to work in the UK are also essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out accurate setting out of drainage, groundworks, and associated civil engineering worksEstablish and maintain site control points and survey referencesInterpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical informationEnsure works are completed to correct lines, levels, and tolerancesMonitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design requirementsComplete QA/QC inspections and maintain quality documentationPrepare and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)Record as-built information, survey data, and site measurementsInspect materials, workmanship, and completed worksIdentify quality issues and support corrective actionsLiaise with site teams to ensure construction standards are maintainedAssist with technical queries and provide engineering support on siteMaintain accurate site records and handover documentation

Qualifications

Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferredCSCSExperience using Total Station / GPS surveying equipmentSMSTS (desirable)
