The roleYou will take ultimate responsibility for leading a large sales team, having direct line management of Sales, Account Management and Partnerships Managers, fully utilising your expertise and leadership skills to input into and drive the overall sales strategy.
What will the role do?• Lead on, direct and have overall responsibility for the sales strategy within the business.• Be responsible for delivering on sales revenue targets and look for every opportunity to maximise this.• Drive and develop the sales strategy, being able to review practises and product offering to maximise market opportunities.• Lead on activities to drive and develop sales performance, make decisions quickly and have a genuine impact within the business.• Lead all inbound and outbound teams with a focus on productivity and effectiveness to drive conversion.• proactively scan for and respond to market changes and embrace technology to drive market share.• Collaborate with various stakeholders across the business, division and Group to ensure we are working together as “one team” as effectively as possible to achieve our overall business objectives including cross-sell activity.• You will be able to analyse data and confidently review performance against KPIs and be able to swiftly identify areas of opportunity/ improvements and how they will impact performance/drive revenue.• Bring new and effective sales development tools and techniques alongside your passion for technology to take a lead role in messaging out sector and industry trends bringing them to life across our teams.• Be expected to travel as and when required to actively engage in Group/divisional sales forums and for senior leadership meetings and events

You will be:• A strong, motivated and hands-on leader who can drive performance and remains close to the detail of all key sales metrics.• Able to quickly assess and understand the sales process that is in place, identifying areas of strength and any potential opportunities to enhance sales performance.• Work with the Management team to review performance and metrics on daily, weekly, monthly basis.• Experience of salesforce and how to work it to your advantage to drive improvements (knowledge of dashboards and reporting)• Able to demonstrate a proven track record of managing, driving and motivating a team of senior sales managers to enhance overall performance• Proven experience in leading high-performing B2B sales teams ideally with exposure of selling into the SME market.• A strong, confident communicator who can not only inspire their people but influence and engage confidently and concisely at C suite level.
