Apprentice Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician
Reading engineering drawings, specifications and production documents
Supporting the planning and scheduling of manufacturing work
Updating production records, technical documents and reports
Using computer software to enter, analyse and present technical information
Checking components, materials and finished equipment for quality
Assisting with product inspections, testing and fault finding
Helping engineers and production staff solve technical or manufacturing problems
Supporting product improvements, prototypes and development projects
Monitoring stock, materials and the progress of work through production
Communicating updates and technical information to colleagues
Keeping work areas organised and following health and safety procedures
Recording evidence and completing coursework for the apprenticeship
Training:
Engineering Technician Level 3.
Training Outcome:
A pathway into a skilled engineering or manufacturing support role.

Working Hours :
Your normal hours of work are between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day, to be taken at 12pm to 12.30pm.
