Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship

Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons Working one-to-one and in small groups with pupils, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Assisting with the preparation and organisation of learning materials and resources Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting our school’s Christian values Supporting children at playtimes and lunchtimes, encouraging active and inclusive play Contributing to record-keeping and tracking progress, under supervision Ensuring all pupils have equal access to learning and feel safe and supported

Training:
Your training will be provided in the workplace with monthly support from your vocational coach, who will either visit you on site to observe your practice and develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours, or meet you via teams link for teaching and discussion The programme of learning is a blend of theory and hands on practical experiences with access to an e portfolio and on line Learning Hub with a wealth of resources

Training Outcome:
This position is temporary in the first instance. Achievement of the teaching assistant apprenticeship may offer opportunities to take up a range of positions in education inclusding one to one roles supporting children with additional needs You may progress to the Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship following a SEND pathway

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday (Term time plus one week). Hours to be confirmed.
