Apprentice Mechanical Fitter
Participating in the completion of risk assessments Using hand tools to build sub assemblies Checking parts and inventory to quality standards Measuring completed assemblies for compliance Collaborating with designers to improve design and ‘makeability’ of product Ensuring standards of housekeeping are maintained at all times Meeting with international customers to showcase TEK4’s capabilities Participating in Tool Box Talks
Training:
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
Training Outcome:
Move to on machine building to align machine 5 axis CNC machines to single micron tolerances and potentially move ahead to roles in design, controls or applications in the future.

Monday to Thursday 0830 – 1700 Friday 0745 - 1230.
