Health and Social Care Foundation Apprentice

Your duties will include:

Assisting service users with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting. Supporting individuals with mobility and transfers where required. Assisting with meal preparation and encouraging healthy nutrition and hydration. Supporting service users with medication in line with company policies and training. Providing companionship and emotional support. Assisting with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and shopping. Accompanying service users to appointments and community activities where appropriate. Maintaining accurate records and reporting concerns to senior staff. Promoting independence, choice, dignity and respect at all times. Following safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and infection control procedures.

No previous care experience is required as full training, structured learning, mentoring and ongoing support will be provided throughout the apprenticeship.

Training:

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Working Hours :
Shifts between 7:00am - 2:00pm or 4:00pm – 10:00pm.
