Business Development Executive

Up to £30,000 Basic + Uncapped OTE + Remote Working + Laptop + Phone Are you a natural ‘self-starter’ with proven business development experience and the ability to source and convert new commercial opportunities? In order to drive new client acquisition, an experienced BDM or BDE, ideally with knowledge of the marketing industry, is required to join one of the UK’s most forward thinking and client focussed digital marketing agencies with a proud history of generating strong ROIs for the last 11 years.Our client is a fast-growing digital marketing agency specialising in Inbound Marketing and SEO.

Their services include Content Creation (written and video), Web Design, SEO, Social Media and PPC, along with additional offline services.In order to drive further bottom-line growth, an ambitious sales professional with proven experience of hitting targets is required to join this small, but perfectly formed, highly agile team.

Whilst some experience of working in the digital marketing sector would be an advantage, applications from individuals without specific industry knowledge that can clearly demonstrate their passion to become an important part of a growing, client centric organisation in a role offering a large degree of autonomy and an uncapped commission structure are also encouraged.Key Responsibilities

Source and convert new business opportunities through your own lead generation and via a database of prospects and existing clients
Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the customer journey runs as smoothly as possible and meets all expected deadlines
Positively address any resistance to change by identifying the customers ‘pain’ and provide solutions that overcome this using the clients USP’s.

Prospect New & Existing Business
Attend Business Seminars, Events & Networking
Be comfortable and confident delivering presentations
Work toward set KPIs and taking full ownership of these
Use initiative to create new business opportunities
Arrange appointments to visit key prospective clients and prepare for those visits.
Attend and present at monthly sales meetings.
Attend BNI and other networking events

Skills & Experience

Previous successful business development experience in a B2B environment
A positive, motivated & upbeat team player
Ability to work under pressure
Hungry for sales, self-motivated and driven
Commercially minded with a creative and proactive approach.
Willing to take on challenges
Highly organised and deadline conscious
Some knowledge of the digital marketing industry is desirable
