Mechatronics Technician Apprentice

This is an exciting opportunity to join an engineering team for a large and progressive meat processing plant in Treburley. The successful candidate will be working within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, providing an opportunity to join a multi-skilled engineering team as an Apprentice Engineer. You will have exposure to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic engineering and learn with a hands-on approach. Exposure will also be given to control and environmental systems. You will join a small and dynamic, hands on maintenance/ engineering team who can be involved in anything from preventative maintenance, to urgent reactive maintenance for site needs. Creativity and innovation are encouraged within the industry, as often engineering solutions can be tailor-made and bespoke to our workplace. You must be able to follow instructions and be a responsible individual.

Training:

You will be working towards a Level 3 Mechatronics Technician Apprenticeship standard.

You will be required to attend Cornwall College St Austell on a weekly basis as part of the apprenticeship training.

You will receive support from an assessor and an apprenticeship advisor.



Training Outcome:

Future employment is potentially available to ambitious and successful applicants.
