Decorating Apprentice

Assist with the preparation of surfaces for painting and decorating. Learn and carry out painting, wallpapering, and finishing techniques. Prepare and clean work areas, tools, and equipment. Mix paints and materials as instructed. Follow health and safety procedures at all times. Support experienced decorators on domestic and commercial projects. Maintain a professional attitude and provide excellent customer service.

Training:
Work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Attend one day per week at college as part of a day-release apprenticeship programme. Complete all coursework and practical assessments required by the apprenticeship.

Training Outcome:

This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification while developing practical skills and experience in the painting and decorating industry.
