Accounts Apprentice
The role overview:
As an Accounts Apprentice, you will support the finance team with basic bookkeeping, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate financial records.
You will use accounting software QuickBooks, while gaining hands-on experience and completing relevant training.
This role offers a strong introduction to finance and the opportunity to develop essential skills within a supportive team.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping Support: Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accurate data entry and the maintenance of up-to-date financial records Accounts Payable: Support the accounts payable process by verifying invoices, processing payments, and ensuring supplier information is accurately recorded Accounts Receivable: Support the accounts receivable process by raising invoice, and ensuring customer information is accurately recorded Accounting Systems: Utilise accounting software QuickBooks, and other relevant tools to manage and update financial information Payroll: Support the payroll process by collating information and data input to company templates Staff Expenses: Support the expense process by collating information and data input to company templates where required Financial Reporting: Help prepare financial reports, claims and support basic month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial updates Training & Development: Participate in ongoing training to build knowledge of core accounting principles, procedures, and best practices Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members on various tasks and projects, contributing to a positive and supportive working environmentKey Qualities:

Accounts or Finance Assistant Level 2.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm, Friday 9am to 4.30pm
