A talented Catering Chef is required to join a high-volume catering operation in Shetland, working on a rotational basis at a remote industrial site.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Catering Chef to join a busy workers' accommodation and catering facility in Shetland. The site caters for up to 350 people in a hotel-style, all-inclusive industrial camp, serving breakfast and evening meals daily. This is a hands-on cooking role within a small team, requiring a strong culinary background and the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality food in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals for breakfast and evening services.Deliver 3-4 menu choices per service, maintaining consistency and presentation.Support the kitchen team with stock control, ordering, and food safety standards.Work closely with the Chef Manager and culinary team on menu execution.Maintain hygiene, food safety, and operational standards across the site.

The Ideal Candidate

Strong culinary background with experience in high-volume catering or contract catering.Comfortable working on a rotational basis (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off or 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off).Reliable, organised, and able to work 7 days a week during the rotation.Passionate about food quality and consistency.Available for an immediate start.
