Apprentice Administration Assistant
Reception and telephone duties including greeting visitors
Provide general administrative support including filing, the use of various computerised systems, printing and scanning
Assist in the recording and maintenance of attendance registers
Receiving incoming goods and checking against orders
Record information including school lunches and student records
Liaise with parents as directed regarding issues relating to individual pupils, including investigating absences
Handling cash in line with the school’s finance policy, which may include collecting money from pupils and parents
To input data onto computerised systems as required including Arbor, our school Management Information System
Training:
Training will take place at Gosberton House Academy. Your trainer will visit you every 4-6 weeks
Training Outcome:
This could lead to a permanent position after succesful completion of the apprenticeship

Gosberton House is a specialist primary academy mainly for children with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder, with a number of places for children with additional needs including learning, communication, sensory and social needs.
Our children are at the centre of everything we do and we work closely with parents and carers to ensure that we give the children every chance to develop their interests, independence and confidence. We work within the National Autistic Society’s SPELL approach to ensure that our children feel safe and secure, and that their sensory needs as well as their academic, social and emotional needs are supported throughout their time with us.
Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, Shifts to be confirmed.
