Apprentice Healthcare Support Worker
Tasks will include:
Supporting the personal care of patients Helping with nutrition Helping with bed making and similar duties, as well as associated administrative tasks You will be working in shifts to meet the service need, building the skills and competences need to further your career in nursingTraining:
An apprenticeship includes regular training with DN Colleges (Scunthrope), one day per week.
Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion you may choose to apply for one of our support worker roles across the Humber Health Partnership, or apply to continue with your studies, such as the Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Generally, shifts will be Monday to Friday with study days expected to be at the college (anticipated to be on a Wednesday). As the role progresses you will be required to work evening, nights and some weekends (hence over 18 years of age).
