Bricklayer Apprenticeship
Your duties may include:
Assisting with the preparation of building sites, materials, tools and equipment. Learning how to lay bricks, blocks and other building materials to construct walls, foundations and other structures. Measuring, setting out and interpreting drawings and specifications. Mixing mortar and ensuring materials are used safely and efficiently. Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment in line with health and safety regulations. Working as part of a construction team to complete projects to a high standard.No two days are the same, and you will gain hands-on experience across a range of residential and commercial construction projects.
Training:
The apprenticeship training is delivered through a combination of workplace learning and regular attendance at Coastland College.
Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be qualified as a Level 2 Bricklayer and have the opportunity to progress within the construction industry.
