Apprentice Laminator - REF 14956

Assist in the manufacture and assembly of GRP water tanks and products Learn hand lay-up laminating techniques using fibreglass materials and resins Prepare moulds, tools, and materials for production Trim, finish, and inspect completed products Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area Follow all company health & safety procedures Use hand tools and workshop equipment safely Support the wider production team when required Attend apprenticeship training and complete coursework as required Work to company quality standards and production targets

Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative Functional Skills  Work-based learning  

Training Outcome:
Progression onto full-time employment

Decca Plastics Limited was established by Derek and Margaret Peacock in June 1973, and is still a family run business today.
The business is now run by their two Sons; Managing Director, Shaun Peacock who is assisted by his brother and Operations Director, Kevin Peacock. Over the years the Company has grown to become a major force in Glass Reinforced Plastics which specialises in Water Storage Tanks.

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursdays 8am-5pm / Fridays 8am-3:30pm / 1 hour lunch (unpaid).
