Apprentice Dental Nurse - Level 3

Typical daily duties include:

Assisting the dentist during a range of treatments Preparing and cleaning treatment rooms Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments Welcoming and supporting patients throughout their visit Keeping accurate patient records Managing appointments and administrative tasks Maintaining high standards of infection prevention and cross-contamination control Working as part of a friendly and professional dental team

Training:

This apprenticeship combines practical, hands-on experience with classroom learning. You will spend four days per week working in the dental practice, gaining valuable on-the-job experience, and one day per week attending face-to-face teaching at Shenstone House, Halesowen, where you will work towards your qualification.



Training Outcome:

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will achieve a nationally recognised Dental Nurse qualification and be eligible to register with the General Dental Council (GDC). You may have the opportunity to progress into a permanent Dental Nurse role and develop further through post-registration qualifications in areas such as radiography, oral health education, sedation, orthodontics, or dental practice management.

Monday - Saturday - one late night per week.
