Level 3 Mechanical Engineering Fitter Apprentice
Over the four years the apprentice learns on real customer machine rebuilds in our Peterborough workshop, mentored by our senior
engineers, with each skill signed off as they master it. With us, they are trained across:
Training:
Year 1: 1 day a week at Peterborough College Year 2: 1 day a week at Peterborough College Year 3: 1 day a week at Peterborough College Year 4: Fully work-based
Training Outcome:
The expected career progression is to work as a field service engineer attending customer sites. This means that once you are qualified, some travel will be expected as part of the role, with the costs covered by the company.
For suitable candidates, UK and international travel then opens up, assisting our customers and Danobat HQ in Spain.
