V&A Safety Advisor Apprentice

Proactively monitor Health & Safety communications, and other reporting channels, identifying incidents requiring investigation or escalation Ensure all incidents are accurately logged on the EHS software Upload incidents that cannot be submitted directly through the EHS software, including reports received from contractors and external service providers Monitor EHS software dashboards track outstanding actions, follow up on overdue items, and escalate unresolved issues to Safety Advisors where necessary Conduct initial accident investigations within agreed parameters, gathering information and supporting the wider investigation process Support the Safety Advisors to ensure risk assessments are in place across all V&A sites, helping colleagues to complete risk assessments as required Assist in the planning, conducting and documenting of targeted health and safety inspections across the V&A Develop prioritised action plans from these inspections, and regularly monitor progress against them Look for ways to improve our processes and procedures, making full use of the EHS software Regular travel to other V&A sites is involved, as is the use of ladders, the need to work at height, accessing plantrooms, workshops, laboratories and roof areas

maintaining a safe and secure environment for our people, visitors
and collections, across all V&A sites. Our team is responsible for
overseeing the protection of staff, visitors and assets and ensuring
compliance with health and safety legislation. We work
collaboratively across departments to identify and manage risks,
investigate accidents and near misses, analyse trends, and promote a
proactive safety culture.



Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:15pm
