Childcare Apprenticeship - Chipping Camden

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Early Years Practitioner Apprentice to join our nursery team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a nationally recognised Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification while working alongside experienced practitioners in a supportive childcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote children's learning and development Assist in providing high-quality care for children, including supporting personal care routines such as feeding, changing and hygiene where appropriate Build positive relationships with children, helping to support their emotional, social and educational development Encourage children's independence through play-based learning and age-appropriate activities Work closely with experienced nursery practitioners to provide a safe, caring and inclusive environment Promote children's wellbeing, health and safety at all times Follow all safeguarding, child protection, health and safety, confidentiality and nursery policies and procedures Help to maintain clean, safe and organised learning environments Support effective communication with parents and carers, sharing appropriate information as directed Work collaboratively as part of the nursery team and contribute positively to daily routines and team meetings Develop an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and apply this within your daily practice Be flexible and willing to work across different nursery rooms as required

Training Outcome:

There is a possibility of being offered a full-time role after successful completion of the apprenticeship.

The Kiddywinks family have been caring for children in the local area since 2002. Located in the lovely Cotswold countryside we extend the children’s learning experiences with visits to local parks, Ernest Wilson Memorial Garden, and National Trusts grounds. Over the years we have built a caring and trusting relationships with our children and their families.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday - Shifts TBC.
