Childcare Apprenticeship - High Peak

Day-Day Responsibilities:

To be a Keyworker for a group of children and have responsibilities to contribute to their on-going developmental needs and assessments. This will include inputting observations onto our Tapestry system and liaison with external agencies and parents/carers. To input into the planning and provision of stimulating and developmentally appropriate activities including preparation of resources and Nursery areas. To work flexibly and cooperatively as part of a team, this may also involve working with all children in our setting from birth to Five years old. To be professional and a positive role model to the children, staff and parents within the setting and to represent Cheeky Monkeys day nursery in a positive manner at all times. To attend staff meetings, training and parents evenings occasionally outside of nursery operating hours as required. To respect and value all colleagues, children and parents whilst encouraging and complimenting our positive and diverse working environment.

Upon completion of this 18 month Apprenticeship, you will have obtained your Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Training Outcome:

There is a possibility of being offered a full time role after successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Employer Description:
Cheeky Monkeys Nursery provides care for children aged 0 to 5 years old on an all year round basis. (We close on all Bank holidays and for one week at Christmas)

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday. Shifts range between 7:30am and 6.00pm.
