Couture Dress Maker/Sample Machinist - Bespoke Bridal Company

Location: Southwest London

Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 DOE

Our client are seeking an experienced Couture Dressmaker/Sample Machinist with excellent sewing skills, and extensive garment construction knowledge, to join their friendly and creative team based in London.



Role & Responsibilities:

? Work closely with the design team, pattern cutters, and workroom manager to maintain sampling standards
? Be able to work a garment through from start to finish
? Produce first samples with high-finishing techniques and skills
? Advise the pattern cutters of potential construction problems
? Ensure all products are made to the highest quality at all times


Requirements:

? Minimum 4 years experience working with bridal wear or a high-end luxury womenswear product
? Knowledge of how to use luxury fabrics, specifically Chiffon, Double Satin, Crepe, Lace and Silk Satin
? You will have extensive garment construction knowledge
? Have experience working on complex corseted gowns


Shift:

? 8 hour shift, Mon- Fri
