Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice
Supporting the day-to-day care and learning of children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities, including working with individual pupils and small groups.
Helping to develop pupils’ key skills to support their learning and development.
Supporting the preparation and organisation of learning resources and classroom materials.
Helping to maintain a safe, clean and stimulating learning environment.
Assisting with the supervision of pupils during classroom and school activities.
Supporting children with personal care routines, including feeding and toileting where required.
Assisting with monitoring and recording pupils’ progress and developmental needs.
Observing children’s development and contributing to learning records and assessments.
Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
Following all safeguarding, health and safety, and whole-school policies and procedures.
Working towards the relevant apprenticeship framework and completing training and coursework within required timescales.
Undertaking duties associated with the role of a Teaching Assistant to support ongoing training and development.
Completing a minimum of 6 hours per week dedicated to apprenticeship training and study.

Training Outcome:
Potential permanent position on completion of the apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
34 hours per week Monday, 8:30am - 4:30pm one week/ 5.00pm on the alternate week. Tuesday, 8:30am - 3:30pm. Wednesday, 8:30am - 4:00pm. Thursday, 8:30am - 3:30pm. Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm.
