Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 (core hours)

 

Working as part of the Yard Team, you'll play a key role in keeping site operations running smoothly. This position involves operating a Counterbalance FLT, moving stock and materials around the yard, loading and unloading vehicles, and supporting general yard activities. As the role is predominantly yard-based, candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 (core hours)Flexibility required to provide holiday cover across other shift patterns, including nights and rotating shiftsCandidates must be willing to support both day and night shifts when required

Key Responsibilities:

Safe operation of a Counterbalance FLTLoading and unloading deliveriesMoving stock, pallets and materials around the yardSupporting general yard and site dutiesCarrying out manual handling tasks where requiredMaintaining high standards of health and safety at all timesWorking effectively as part of the Yard Team

Requirements:

Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence (essential)Previous Counterbalance FLT experience preferredComfortable working outdoors throughout the yearAbility to lift up to 25kgStrong awareness of health and safety proceduresReliable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to provide cover across alternative shift patterns when required

Pay Rate:

£13.69 per hour
