Childcare Apprenticeship - Eccleshall

We’re looking for a nurturing, friendly, and approachable individual to join our warm and supportive team as an Early Years Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with children to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised childcare qualification.

You will primarily be based in our Tweenies Room, supporting children aged 18 months to 2 years, with flexibility to work across other age groups when needed. You’ll play an active role in supporting children’s learning and development through play, while ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide care and support for children in the early years Assist in planning, preparing, and implementing age-appropriate activities Support children’s learning and development through play-based experiences Provide personal care, including nappy changing and toileting Support with feeding and mealtimes Carry out general nursery duties to maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment Work as part of a team to create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere

Naturally nurturing, friendly, and approachable personality Proactive, reliable, and confident in taking on responsibilities Strong timekeeping and excellent attendance record Genuine passion for working with children in Early Years Ability to work well as part of a team Willingness to learn and develop professionally
